Use of the game

Cyber Chess is for casual gameplay, learning, local review, sharing, and entertainment. Do not use it as a substitute for official tournament software or professional chess adjudication.

Session-local state

The active game and settings are kept in the browser session. Reloading the page may remove that information; this build does not provide cloud saves or accounts.

Generated share links

Generated share links can include a position or game in the URL so another browser can load it. Only share games or positions you are comfortable putting into a URL.

Fair play

AI opponents, local hotseat play, the Cyber Coach, and review tools are provided for practice and entertainment. The game is not tournament adjudication software.

No warranty

The game is provided as is with no warranty. It may change, fail, lose locally stored data, or behave differently across devices and browsers.
